How would it feel to wear your art instead of leaving it behind when you leave your home? I don't mean the 6 foot painting over your sofa.

 

Diana's Wearable ART pieces are one of a kind Art-wear and mostly double-sided. (reversible) Yes, they develop ALTER EGOS along the way !!

 

She does not like calling her work Jewelry. The word Jewelry seems to have certain expectations attached to it. Diana's work deviates a bit with regard to feel, materials, formal and informal associations and what to wear it with. BE FREE!

This is about sculpture that you wear. It's not all made of metals, so be careful not to go diving in your pool, or go bathing in your 'two-piece'.  Art-piece, that is! You wouldn't dunk your paintings in water, would ya? Since these have Alter Egos (reverse sides) you'll have to baby 2 sides.

Many of Diana designs and original pieces can be worn on either side. Yes, you get two carefully designed sides to revel in.

 

Ok, so, you didn't buy that painting you loved for $4500. and you regretted it. Now, you get to save a little more when you do plunk down your art money. For original, one of a kind and two-sided, these are not only exquisite artworks, but exquisitely priced for your attainment.

Each piece arrives after an enormous amount of love, time and patience to be born. Not minutes or hours, but it will take days to evolve to completion. In its orchestration, both sides manifest, each making its own statement.

 

They are sometimes chunky, sometimes more delicate. Men can impress their moms, sisters, favorite friends and wives with their cultural savvy :D

All are made in the USA and in Diana's single-handed 'Factory'!!

Materials: Mixed Media (combinations of these materials might be found:  metal, glue, cardboard, acrylics, acrylic gems, Swarovski crystal, resin, prints, paper, glass, plastic, epoxy resin, found objects, etc.) Reusing/Recycling plays a big part in the making of D'Angleonya!

 

Artist, Diana Campanella is a resident of Arizona and she took her MFA from the State University of New at New Paltz. She is mostly known for her nonrepresentational paintings and has works in collections throughout the USA. Her artistic expression covers a broad spectrum and Diana had even founded and published a magazine. She was an activist, created the Universelings peace project and designed her own tarot deck.  She has an ongoing interpretive, improvisational dance project which can be viewed on Youtube. She's no stranger to making jewelry, and now she has begun her fancy for making art that you can wear and feel artzie!

Most Neck Art are clasp-less; you can just put them on over your head without fussing with some little clasp. :P  Some do still have a way to adjust the length with a built in toggle.
