This is a bathroom wall with faux travertine and copper 'grout'. The wall was once white.
Stone or Paint? PAINT!
These marbleized columns were white and nondescript. Now they add a luxurious feel to the bathing environment.
Paint!
Once white, these columns now add warmth and become part of the decor.
Table painted to look like real stone.
Faux painted walls complement the majestic marbleized columns.
This marbleizing technique developed by Diana is a fraction of the cost of real marble. The cost ia about $500. per column. well.
Generally, the colors are choosen to coordinate with the decor of the room.
It will not take weeks or months to convert a couple of columns, fireplace, or furniture. Generally, just a day of getting in the way of your daily routine. is all it takes.
More than 2 columns will take a bit longe,. perhaps a weekend.
